Crash N Burn Radio Show

Crash N Burn Radio Show

Just over two months ago, my good friend (and fellow inkedupgunfighter.com writer) were sitting down over beers and decided that we should start an online podcast/radio show. We decided to involve my wife, Erica, and brainstorm in what sort of content we wanted to talk about and what the format of the show would be like.

Now the idea of an online radio show is not new to me. Back when I was a part of Front Site Post, the idea of FSP Live was conceived and a pilot show was hosted at Progressive F.O.R.C.E. Concepts‘ headquarters during SHOT Show several years ago. Considering I still had all of the equipment from that project, it was easy to streamline our set up. Combine that with Google Hangouts and we had a live video streaming show.

Both myself and Andy are big fans of a few other online hangouts-based podcasts such as We Like Shooting, Talking Lead, and High Capacity TV, all of which who have become good friends of mine over the years. We all decided that we didn’t want our show to be locked into firearms discussions only, and we quickly came up with the name Crash N’ Burn! Subscribe to our YouTube Channel!

In addition to discussions about firearms and second amendment rights, we added technology, general news, politics, craft beer, whiskey & bourbon, medical/prepping, outdoorsy stuff, movies and more to our topics of discussion. Each week we have a new guest on to talk about who they are, what they’re doing, or what business they’re in.

As we continue to do more live shows, we are making subtle changes to improve upon the show. We are currently working on streaming live to i heart radio or speaker and setting up a RSS feed for iTunes. We’re also currently looking for a fourth person for the show who can screen phone calls so that we can take questions “live on the air.”

We will also be doing reviews on products, firearms drills and other video content in-between the live show. Check out this review on the StealthGearUSA holster here:

I hope you all have a chance to check out one of our live shows and send us your questions!

In the mean time, check out this equally awesome video on trick-loading your shotgun:
